The present research entitled "Learning styles and academic performance in students of the 4th grade primary level of the San Mateo Adventist International Educational Institution, El Porvenir Trujillo 2020" aims to determine the relationship between learning styles and academic performance in 4th grade students at the San Mateo Adventist International Educational Institution, El Porvenir Trujillo 2020. In order to achieve this, we worked with the correlational descriptive method and non- experimental design. For this, a sample population of 30 students of the 4th grade of the primary level of said Institution was used, to whom the learning styles questionnaire with 21 questions was applied, the data obtained were processed in the SPSS program. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the learning styles and the academic performance of the students of the 4th grade primary level of the San Mateo Adventist International Educational Institution, El Porvenir Trujillo 2020, it was also concluded that the result obtained from The application shows that reflective and pragmatic learning styles are predominant among students of the quantum grade of the elementary level of the San Mateo Educational Institution.
