The present work consists in the realization of a proposal of improvement of the management in the operations of the company “CQM ASESORES Y CORREDORES DE SEGUROS“ located in Av. Of culture E-4, Teaching, city of Cusco. The need that gives rise to this work arises from the lack of a management control system, which provides direct support to the company's operations as well, being able to determine performance and performance indicators in each functional area of the company. Thus, the main objective is to determine how operational management will improve based on the Balanced ScoreCard methodology for the company “CQM ASESORES Y CORREDORES DE SEGUROS“, in order to align the effort with the company's strategy. To carry out this work, the methodology proposed by Kaplan and Norton, design of a strategic map and the use of strategic planning models such as the Porter's Five Force Model, SWOT analysis, EFI matrix and EFE and the MPC matrix will be used. The Balanced ScoredCard or Balanced Scorecard is a model that becomes a very useful tool for strategic management. It is based on the definition of strategic objectives, indicators and strategic initiatives, establishing the cause-effect relationships through the strategic map in four basic perspectives; financial, customers, internal processes and learning-growth, that is, translates the strategy into directly related objectives that will be measured through indicators aligned to initiatives.
