The main purpose of this research was to establish the relationship between Psychological Well-Being and Academic Performance in the students of the sixth semester of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Alas Peruanas University Cusco branch. The research approach is quantitative, it is of descriptive and correlational scope with a non-experimental, transversal design; design that allows to establish the level of relation between both variables object of study. The research was done in a sample of 40 students, for data collection the instrument that was applied was the questionnaire to see the degree of relationship, and the weighted average of the students to be able to measure their academic performance. The results obtained from the application of this research, demonstrate that there is a direct and significantly high relationship between the variable Psychological Well-Being and the variable Academic Performance. What implies that, when a student is with adequate psychological well-being, this has a positive and significant impact on Academic Performance. Likewise, the general hypothesis is statistically demonstrated in which both study variables are directly dependent on each other in relation to each other. It is based on the result obtained from the chisquare test statistic, in which the Chi-square value =24.28. This result obtained basically is because the calculated p-value = 0.000, is smaller than the value of the level of significance = 0.05, results that confirm the decision to accept the alternative hypothesis of the investigation, and to reject the null hypothesis.
