We must start by indicating that extrajudicial conciliation is an alternative conflict resolution mechanism better known as MARC, in that sense we must mention that the use of conciliation in food matters represents an effective activity in its performance, however its application is limited, since it is clearly not applied efficiently, due to the lack of greater awareness among users. What denotes a limitation in its application and procedural relief, makes the process become onerous, slow. The objective of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of the mandatory application of extrajudicial conciliation in food processes within the first family court. Likewise, the present investigation had a qualitative approach, exploratory descriptive level, non- experimental research design, taking as a population the members of the Judiciary, Lawyers and parts of the process, considering the technique of observation and bibliographic review. In the conclusions of the investigation, we arrive at the fact that the alternative conciliation mechanism avoids procedural congestion and contributes to reaching a culture of peace, when applied correctly and appropriately, according to the objective of Law No. 26872 - Law of Extrajudicial Conciliation and its Regulations D.S. No. 014-2008-JUS. Likewise, it was identified that the lack of dissemination and application of said alternative mechanism affects the parties and the State, congesting the Judicial Branch, not arriving at a quick result but rather a long and onerous process. Its beneficial application to the feeder since it is the one that requires it, for its subsistence, as food, also for clothing, housing, etc.
