This work entitled “Protection Measures for Minor Victims of the Crime of Sexual Rape in the Criminal Courts of the Judicial District of Cusco, 2020-2021”, focuses on the analysis of the protection measures dictated to victims under 14 years of the crime of rape, as established in article 173 of the Penal Code. The main objective of this thesis is to identify in the convictions the protection measures that are granted to minors who have been victims of the crime in question and how the State, through these measures, guarantees the physical and psychological well-being of the boys and girls. of our country. A qualitative approach was used that included an analysis of 5 judicial cases about the crime in question, including interviews with different legal operators such as judges, prosecutors, defense lawyers and psychologists. The results of this study focus on the protection measures provided to children under 14 years of age who have been victims of sexual violence. These measures are valuable, but their effectiveness can vary significantly due to a lack of customization to the individual circumstances of each case. Although these measures are issued by the family court, it is essential that the criminal judge also reinforces these measures in his final sentence. This study contributes to the understanding of protection measures for the benefit of victims under 14 years of sexual violence both before, during and after the criminal process, highlighting the importance of correct monitoring of the measures granted by the judicial system. in this way protect the sexual integrity of minors. Protective measures are essential tools to stop sexual violence, but their effectiveness will depend on correct implementation according to the needs of the victims.
