The objective of the research work carried out was to evaluate the efficiency of the domestic wastewater treatment plant of the international airport project of Chinchero, Cusco 2023, which corresponds to the camp of the first stage of earthworks. The methodology used was of a correlational level and a quantitative approach, since it consisted of entering the facilities of the wastewater treatment plant to extract samples from the influent and effluent point for the analysis of the physicochemical and microbiological parameters, adding acid sulfuric acid (H2SO4) as a preservation reagent for the parameter oils and fats and chemical oxygen demand and proceed to send it to the laboratory for evaluation. The results of the analysis show an efficiency of 88.04% for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), 82.83% for chemical oxygen demand (COD), 73.6% for total suspended solids (TSS), 89.76% for oils and fats (A&G), 40.23% for the hydrogen potential (pH), 99% for fecal coliforms, and in terms of helminth eggs, the effluent results with 01 Strongyloides spp. In conclusion, the pH exceeds the maximum permissible limits (MPL) since its result is referential because it was not sampled in situ. However, when taking references from previous monitoring, it is evident that it is within what is indicated by the standard as well as the physicochemical and microbiological parameters, in terms of helminth eggs, complies with what is indicated in the recommended microbiological quality guidelines for category A, which corresponds to irrigation of crops that are commonly consumed raw, sports fields and public parks. Therefore, the domestic wastewater treatment plant is 86.95% efficient.
