The present investigation entitled: "RESEARCH ATTITUDE IN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS OF THE PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL OF NURSING AT THE ANDEAN UNIVERSITY OF CUSCO, 2023", aimed to determine the research attitude in undergraduate students of the Professional School of Nursing at the Andean University of Cusco, 2023. The study was descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional design; the sample consisted of 131 students from the 5th to the 10th academic cycle. The 85.5% of the students were between 20 and 30 years of age; 88.5% were female, 95.4% were single; 85.5% had no children and 59.5% came from Cusco and its districts. The 28.2% are in the 5th academic semester and 26% in the 7th semester; 61.8% of students only study and 38.2% study and work. The description of the attitude in its dimensions; 47.3% of students present a high attitude in its affective dimension, 5.3% present a low attitude and very low. 63.4% have a high attitude in the cognitive dimension and 0.8% have a low attitude. 56.5% of students have a neutral attitude in the behavioral dimension and 3.8% have a low attitude. The attitude towards research in nursing students of the Andean University of Cusco is high with 62.6% while 32.1% present a neutral attitude and 4.6% have a very low attitude.
