The present work evaluates the physical-mechanical properties of the mortar added with carbon nanotubes in percentages of (0.2%, 0.4% and 0.6%), in order to analyze the advantages in future applications in construction. The properties to be analyzed were: "compressive strength, flexural strength, bond strength and mortar consistency", for these tests were used a combination of aggregates (Cunyac quarry (80%) and Vicho quarry (20%)), portland cement type IP and carbon nanotubes and the breaking ages were 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. Peruvian technical standards (NTP) were used for the analysis and testing of the samples, the specimens used were cubes (5 cm) on each side for the compressive strength test, rectangular specimens (4x4x16 cm) on each side for the flexural strength test, a flow table for the analysis of mortar fluidity data and for the adhesion test were used a "King Kong type 18hole bricks (24x12x9 cm)". As results of the tests performed, the compressive strength, flexural strength and adhesion, the substitution of carbon nanotubes in percentage of 0.4% was the most optimal, because it shows a greater increase in strength compared to the standard mortar. The highest average value of compressive strength was (210.15 kg/cm2), the highest average value of flexural strength was (113.40 kg/cm2) and the highest average of the adhesion resistance was (9.91 kg/cm2). Finally, the population consisted of 64 specimens for the compressive strength test, 64 specimens for the flexural strength test and 20 specimens for the adhesion test. For the preparation of these specimens, a w/c ratio of 0.58 was used for the standard mortar and a w/c ratio of 0.63 for the mortar added with carbon nanotubes in percentages of (0.2%, 0.4% and 0.6%).
