In Peru, 80% of children and adolescents presented malocclusion. The most prevalent malocclusions dysfunctions are present, this because many etiological factors involved and that this may fall into more serious problems if not treated properly and on time. WHO qualifies the malocclusions in the risk group for oral health. Cusco, one of the most important cities of Peru and a diverse population which is reflected in its cosmopolitan feature, currently merging different racial types, not only of our different regions but also abroad. That is why the need for a prevalence rate of this dysfunction at the level of primary care in the Cusco region, together taking into account risk factors that could condition the presence of this dysfunction. Data from 507 patients were taken, sampling was probabilistic random nature, simple whose value according to formula is 507 male and female students EI Miguel Grau Seminario of Cusco. The results were, it was determined that the prevalence of malocclusion in students of 12-16 years is 99.80% at the age of 14 years. It was determined that the prevalence of malocclusion in the functional alterations is the highest percentage in the male gender which is in 7.1. It was determined that the prevalence of malocclusions in traumatic alterations in the male is at 5.9% for a total of Y in females 4.9% that makes us a total of 25 units in the sample which indicates a lower percentage .
