The research entitled FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH PEDICULOSIS CAPITIS IN STUDENTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION JOSÉ PIO AZA N° 50245- KORIBENI, LA CONVENCIÓN - CUSCO 2022, whose objective was to determine the factors associated with Pediculosis Capitis in students of the Educational Institution José Pio Aza N° 50245- Koribeni, La Convención - Cusco 2022. A study of correlational scope, non-experimental cross-sectional design which considered a sample of 165 students; 50.9% presented this ectoparasitic infestation, to whom a questionnaire and an observation guide were applied. The biological factors showed 27.3% were 15 years old, 53.9% were male, 54.5% had long hair and 78.2% had straight hair. In the socioeconomic factors, 43.6% live with 2 to 4 people in the household, 61.8% of their father earns an income of more than 1200 soles per month and 62.4% do not have personal hygiene items and accessories. Of the cultural factors, 67.9% wear a loose hairstyle, 47.9% wash their hair once a week, 60.6% wear clean clothes, 63.6% have their hair combed, 50.9% sometimes take the initiative to treat pediculosis, 43.0% always use a razor and 53.3% sometimes use treatments to eliminate this ectoparasitic infestation. The Chi-square statistical test found an association between the Biological Factor in sex p=(0.000), hair size p=(0.000); Socioeconomic factor, no association was found for the number of people in the home (p=0.393), monthly economic income of the father (p=0.545) and toiletries and accessories (p= 0.888); Cultural factor found association with the type of hairstyle (p=0.000), frequency of hair grooming p=(0.003), initiative to treat Pediculosis p=(0.021), use of combing rake p=(0.000) and application of treatment to eliminate Pediculosis Capitis p=(0.023).
