The objective of this study was to determine the factors associated with the level of knowledge about oral health in adult women attended at the Buena Vista 2020 health center. A non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational study was carried out with a quantitative approach. The population was 300 adult women between 18 and 55 years of age. The sample was selected in a simple random manner. A 20-question questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument, divided into 4 groups: dental caries, prevention, diet and oral hygiene, an informed consent form, and a 13-question survey to determine socioeconomic level. It was found that the majority of adult women had a fair level of knowledge (61.7%), followed by a good level of knowledge (33.3%). Regarding the associated factors, a Poisson multivariate analysis showed a predictive analysis of the relationship or association of the independent variables on the dependent variable, in this sense only the level of education presented a p<0.05 which is highly significant. In conclusion, we only found a relationship between the level of health knowledge and the level of education.
