This research analyzes and measures the socio-economic effects generated by tourism businesses oligopolistic (PeruRail, IncaRail and AndeanRailWays) on tour operators Cusco; in the 80s and 90s in Peru war and subversive actions were carried out by terrorist groups (MRTA, Sendero Luminoso), that directly affected the country's economy and being the sensitivity and retractilidad two characteristics of tourism, the latter was greatly affected, the Peruvian state to re-activate your implant economy economic model of neo-liberalism, along with the new economic model, a series of concessions, one of which was that of the railroads were given, concession held between Ferrocarril Transandino SA (Fetransa) and Perú Rail SA, for e new millennium and the first decade tourism with these conditions as activity, prospero with all actors, because of the above was found in the tourism market competition imperfecta (monopoly, duopoly and oligopoly) and the effects thereof were measured in Cusco tour operators. The objectives were to analyze and measure the effects mentioned above and then hypothesizing the existence of such effects, finding its existence and degree of incidence; in what refers to Marco Theoretical literature on economics, microeconomics, tourism, economy applied to tourism and limitations regarding our study was analyzed. The design of this research has a univariable descriptive approach, with a nonexperimental design, quantitative, three-dimensional and numerous indicators. The results found were the existence of the socio-economic effects, validating our objectives and hypotheses.
