The present work of investigation whose title is “Microfiltration in Veneers of Lithium Disilicate Cemented with Resin Cement (Nexus3) and Modified Term Resin (Herculite Precis) Andean University of Cusco 2018“ had as main problem: What is the Microfiltration in Veneers of Lithium Disilicate Cemented with Resinous Cement (Nexus 3) and Modified Thermo Resin (Herculite Precis), Andean University of Cusco 2018? Main Objective: Determine if there are differences in the Microfiltration of Lithium Disilicate veneers cemented with resinous cement (Nexus3) and thermomodified resin (Herculite Precis), Andean University of Cusco 2018 Material and Method: It is a Quantitative Approach Research, having as a research scope, Comparative Descriptive, the research design was Quasi experimental, the type of sampling handled was randomly non-probabilistic. The population was given by 20 sheets of Lithium Disilicate, cemented in 20 upper first premolar teeth, divided into two groups I and II, of 10 samples each, were carved from the vestibular surfaces of the 20 pieces according to the protocol previous silicone guide, for the subsequent cementation of the veneer, lithium disilicate veneers were made for each of the carved pieces, in Group I the lithium disilicate veneers were cemented with resinous cement (Nexus3), group II the lithium disilicate veneers were cemented with thermomodified resin (Herculite Precis), the apices were sealed with a portion of acrylic self-polymerization to avoid microfiltration from the pulp chamber, the teeth were subjected to a thermocycling regime and were introduced in a 2% Methylene Blue solution for 5 days. Sagittal section cuts of the pieces were made and after that they were taken to the inspection under optical microscopy. Results: The results obtained in lithium disilicate veneers cemented with Nexus3 Resin Cement and Herculite Precis Thermomodified Resin, showed greater microfiltration with Nexus 3 Resin cement (F = 19, 47.5%) compared to Herculite Precis thermomodified resin ( F = 13, 32.5%), with a p = 0.018, the microfiltration was higher for the Nexus3 resinous cement compared to the Thermomodified Herculite Precis resin at both the cervical and medium levels, with p = 0.046 (p <0.05). Conclusions: In the two groups evaluated, a certain degree of microfiltration is observed. When comparing both cementing agents, Herculite Precis Thermomodified Resin had a lower percentage of statistically significant microfiltration compared to the Resinous Nexus3 cement.
