turismo.
At present, attempts to reactivate tourism safely have occurred in an isolated manner, but the one that seems to have been most successful in the rental of smaller vehicles is the state of Western Australia that united the cities of Perth, Broome and others by allowing the transporting small groups of tourists to national parks, beaches and other attractions, this has made transport companies able to cope with the effects of the pandemic. In the city of Cusco - Peru the situation has not been the same since the restriction of mobility of any type of vehicles has been limited only for emergencies until September 20, 2020 causing the stagnation of the economy. The objective was to analyse the rental of M1 vehicles as an alternative for the reactivation of tourism during the COVID19 in the city of Cusco. Regarding the methodology, this research has a descriptive range, a non-experimental design and the surveys were carried out with tourists who used the vehicle rental service at least once, as well as with the legal representatives of tourism operating companies. The study concludes that the rental of M1 vehicles would contribute positively to the reactivation of tourism in the city of Cusco since 36.3% of the population considers that these vehicles contribute very positively to the reactivation of tourism, 57.5% consider that it contributes positively and only 6.3% of the surveyed population that would contribute regularly to the reactivation of tourism. These vehicles are a positive alternative since it is possible to follow the guidelines of social distancing and avoid the spread of the virus while traveling with tourism purposes.
