Abstract: El trabajo de investigación se realizó en el Hospital Regional del Cusco encontrando como problema principal el bajo compromiso organizacional por parte de los trabajadores de dicho hospital.
Para saber más sobre el compromiso organizacional se planteó como objetivo general determinar cómo es el compromiso organizacional en el Hospital regional del Cusco y de esta manera saber cuan comprometidos están los trabajadores hacia la institución y teniendo como sus dimensiones de estudio el compromiso afectivo, el compromiso de continuidad y el compromiso normativo, el trabajo de investigación se desarrolló bajo la siguiente metodología tipo de investigación básica, nivel de investigación descriptiva y diseño de la investigación no experimental.
Además, hay que considerar que los sujetos encuestados (personal profesional) presento gran variedad de sentimientos y percepciones en relación al compromiso organizacional, primero en el compromiso afectivo tenemos un 48.7% esto nos indica que los trabajadores de dicho hospital no están del todo comprometidos afectivamente con la institución, con un 48.7% tenemos al compromiso de continuidad lo que nos indica que los trabajadores de dicho hospital laboran de manera interesada y en el compromiso normativo un 61.5% que nos indica que el trabajo que ellos realizan re dicha institución es impuesta por sus superiores mas no por estar comprometidos con el hospital, llegando a una conclusión final con un 39.7% lo que indica que al compromiso organizacional en el Hospital Regional del Cusco es pésima lo que no debería ser así por ser una institución que trata con personas y su salud.
