Intitled ; “Opinion of patients with Diabetes Mellitus type II, on alternative therapy in the Regional Hospital of Cusco ,2020“, had as objective: To analyze the opinion of patients with Diabetes Mellitus type II, on alternative therapy in the Regional Hospital of Cusco,2020, the methodology is of descriptive- analytical type, of qualitative nature. The results obtained from the opinions of the patients with Diabetes Mellitus type II could be evidenced that most of the patients of the total of people interviewed diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus type II, are older people whose age range is between 43 and 66 years old, all of them patients of the Regional Hospital of Cusco. Referring to the Dimension of interaction, the interviewed people feel confidence by the health personnel also they possess a knowledge of alternative therapies thanks to relatives and close friends to the patients. Regarding the therapeutic dimension, most of the respondents indicated that doctors, nurses, did not explain to them or prescribed alternative treatments to the pharmacological one, and regarding if they wanted to try alternative therapies most of them said yes. Regarding the patients' testimonies on the side effects dimension, most of the patients refer that at the beginning of their treatments they presented several problems such as visual, stomach, and others. Another group presented improvement to the pharmacological treatment, and to the question, if they know of adverse reactions to the treatment with alternative therapies most responded that they did not know of some cases.
