The local factors associated with periodontal disease in the district of San Sebastian are: Bad and very bad Oral Hygiene (p-0.000<0.01) and the presence of malocclusions (p-0.014<0.01). External factors associated with periodontal disease in the district of San Jerónimo are: Hypertension (p-0.011<0.01), and place of peri-urban and rural residence (p-0.016<0.01), External factors associated with the disease periodontal in the district of San Sebastian are: Hypertension (p-0.000<0.01), Diabetes (p-0.018<0.05) and place of peri-urban and rural residence (p-0.007<0.01). As conclusions we have that the factors associated with periodontal disease in the district of San Jerónimo are: oral hygiene index (OR: 3,798 IC95% 1,621 – 8,903), the presence of defective anatomy such as enamel spur or cuspid heel (OR: 2,617 IC995% 1,110 – 6,171) and The presence of hypertension (OR: 4,485 CI95% 1,125 – 17,888), which were determined as risk factors and factors associated with periodontal disease in the san Sebastian district is oral hygiene ( OR: 3,364 IC95% 1,941 – 5,832), the presence of hypertension (OR: 4,718 IC95% 2,355 – 9,454) and socio-economic status (OR: 10,463 CI95% 1,451 – 9,454), which were determined as a risk factor.
