This research was carried out in the Marangani Textile Factory S.A., a textile company that produces shawls, blankets and blankets, the focus is on the production of blankets. The production area is divided into 7 sections that come to be: washing, dyeing, spinning, weaving, finishing, maintenance and cauldron. By means of a diagnosis it is determined the need of the sections of washing, dyeing, spinning, weaving and finishes are sequentially due to the continuity of the production activities, the problem is in the dyeing section that is at 154.38m. separated from the section of washes, also in the cauldron section which supplies with water vapor to the section washed, dyed and finished, the distance that has the route of the steam between these sections is 89.806m., 59.196m. and 65,862m. respectively, the production time for a batch of 600 blankets is 1582 minutes. The objective is to carry out a redistribution of the plant in the production area to increase its productivity. The methodology of the redistribution of the plant, techniques and instruments for data collection was used. The Process Analysis Diagram is prepared for the elaboration of a batch of 600 blankets, the machinery to develop the Guerchet method and the relationship table is described, the route diagram is made before the redistribution and the calculation of the the productivity before reallocating the redistribution and the result is 0.3034 batch / 8 h which equals 182 blankets / 8 h. We proceeded with the application of the redistribution in the dyeing and cauldron section. The distance that separates the dyeing wash is 43.77m., The distance of travel from the steam of the cauldron to the washing, dyeing and finishing sections is 29.80m., 31.02m. and 62.30m. respectively with these distances the production time for a batch of 600 blankets demands 1376 minutes. With this result the calculation of the applied redistribution productivity is made and the result is 0.3488 batch / 8 h which is equivalent to 209 blankets / 8 h, in such a way that it is possible to increase the productivity in 14.96%.
