This research consisted of an in vitro comparative study comparing the diametral tensile strength of five conventional adhesive and one self-adhesive, chemically and chemically polymerized adhesive. Twenty specimens of each cement were formed, of which 20 were of the Biscem cement; Duolink; Allcem are light-curing for 40 seconds with a halogen light and also Ketac-Cem, and chemically chemically polymerized in an environment without light. Then to be subjected to mechanical tests. By means of a universal test machine from the Andean University of Cusco, where the tensile strength values of 20 specimens of each group were obtained. The results were tabulated, analyzed and subjected to the Shapiro Wilk test and analysis of variance ANOVA using the SPSS computer program, where it is obtained that in both tests the values of each sample are normally distributed and that there are significant differences between the groups studied. Subsequently the Tukey test is applied, which identifies between which groups there is a statistically significant difference. The results obtained showed that Duolink cement presented better values than KetacCem cement, All-Cem, Merón.
