The present study “PROPOSAL FOR A PLAN FOR THE MINIMIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF SOLID WASTE IN THE AUTOMOTIVE WORKSHOP: “AUTOMOTORES CUSCO”, WANCHAQ 2022”, aims to propose a plan for the minimization and management of solid waste in the automotive workshop: Automotores Cusco - Wanchaq 2022. The type of research was applied with a descriptive design for the management of solid waste in the Automotores Cusco company, through the application of technical standards and Peruvian legislation on waste management, a diagnosis was made prior to Through the use of information collection instruments and a characterization of solid waste, having this data, the Solid Waste Management Plan was proposed, measures in which different actions are detailed and to be taken according to the type of waste generated adapted to our situation. The results were that the most generated waste according to its weighing was metal waste with 229.kg in 04 days, followed by WEEE with 79 Kg. Followed by rubber (tires) and plastic containers with 19 kg and 13kg respectively and plastic, paper and cardboard packaging in smaller quantities. It was also recorded that 81% of the personnel who currently work in the workshop do not know what solid waste management is like, such as the regulations or the corresponding processes to be able to save the environment and their own health.
