The present research work is aimed at determining the degree of relationship of the competence and performance of workers of the administrative area of the EPS SEDACUSCO S.A. taking into account the correlation of the variables of the study labor competencies and job performance with their respective dimensions and indicators, which can be described in Table 2: operationalization of variables. As specific objectives we measure the degree of relationship of the General competencies and work performance, as well as measure the degree of relationship of the specific competences and the performance of workers of the administrative area of the EPS SEDACUSCO S.A. for this effect has been developed an investigation of quantitative approach, scope correlational descriptive/non-experimental design. As a result of the investigation of 66 workers surveyed, to measure the degree of relationship of competencies and the job performance to 95% reliability using the Pearson correlation exists a significant positive relationship between the labor competencies and the performance of Workers of the Administrative Area of the EPS. SEDACUSCO S.A, where this relationship is 52%; that is to say that greater labor competencies will have a better job performance; p = 0.000 < 0.05.
