TRAVEL AGENCY IN TIME OF PANDEMIC BY COVID 19 IN CUSCO, YEAR 2021", has as its general objective to study and analyze the changes that occurred in the highlight tours travel agency as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic. The situation in the year 2021 the world had a great impact with the arrival of COVID 19, a pandemic that spread throughout the planet and had an impact on the suspension of microeconomic, macroeconomic activities throughout the planet, mainly in the tourism sector by what migration throughout the planet was practically stopped by governments which, not having a clear response to combat the pandemic, closed borders access to other cities and development activities from person to person or from public environments either open or Closed with this measure, tourism was one of the sectors hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic. Also, with the prospect of being the last to recover. An analysis by the Peruvian Institute of Economy confirms the impact on this item during the first wave in the south, it was the first to be affected in the country, as well as the total cancellation by visitors, the travel and tourism agency highlight tours EIRL in This hard stage saw a considerable impact on an economic deficit and had to take actions to avoid falling into bankruptcy, so the present work analyzes the damage and how the workers of the aforementioned company were affected, due to the lack of economic liquidity and acquired debts. with the banks since before the state of emergency the company was able to buy equipment and remodel the company with the aim of renewing the company's image. With the present research work, it is intended to achieve strategies so that the company can recover economically and avoid bankruptcy, for this, strategies will be proposed that allow the travel agency to obtain loans from the state, as well as tourism promotion plans will be considered for the foreign and national market with the purpose of positioning itself in segments that are interested in reaching Cusco. This drop in jobs and closure of a company in the tourism sector in Cusco is related to the decrease in arrivals and occupancy in the different lodgings, where there were -73.8% fewer visitors compared to 2019 and this statistic in turn denotes that tourism will have a decline whenever there is a health problem more if it is a pandemic by not having the means or sources to be able to combat global health problems, much less a pandemic. Tourism in our country as in the world is a very vulnerable sector which at the slightest change falls into a negative repercussion for companies, as well as for workers who are directly affected by the restrictions that are executed since there is no plan or security protocol to prevent this situation.
