The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between sociodemographic - obstetric characteristics and perinatal maternal complications in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders treated at the health service provider institution in Pomacanchi, Cusco - 2017-2022; The study was of an applied type, in addition, it corresponds to a study of correlational descriptive scope and quantitative approach; Likewise, the design was non-experimental; The sample with which we worked was probabilistic, from the study it was possible to conclude that there is a relationship between maternal complications and sociodemographic characteristics that approaches 0, for this reason it is less than the 0.05 level of significance; Depending on the population analyzed, 45.98% had multiparous parity, 42.53% had secondary parity, 8.05% had primiparous parity and finally the remaining 3.45% had large multiparous parity; Furthermore, it can be observed that the gestational age of the population in question was mostly more than 41 weeks, being 94.25%, and regarding perinatal complications, in which 100% of the cases studied have not presented fetal distress. ; followed by 3.4% of cases in which shoulder dystocia was observed; Likewise, in 100% of the cases, bracheal palsy did not occur, which is a positive point among perinatal complications; Furthermore, only 5.7% of cases had low Apgar at birth; However, unfortunately 6.9% cases of fetal death occurred.
