This thesis makes the description and analysis of the determinants in the process of production and marketing of avocado in the Association of Fruit Producers Valle de Limatambo - Anta period 2014 to 2016. The primary purpose is to know if the determinants of the production and commercialization of avocados are inefficient in this association, for this purpose, four research objectives were proposed that allow us to know the level of investment in the capital factor, the degree of technology, as well as analyze the demand and the direct competitors of the association. For the realization of the present investigation, a methodology of correlational approach with descriptive character and of non-experimental design was used, applying surveys to a sample given by the 55 active members of Aprofrut, likewise it was carried out interviews to the president of the association and to the head of economic development of the district municipality of Limatambo. The research concludes that the determining factors, investment and technology are inefficient because they do not contribute significantly in avocado production in the association Aprofrut, where traditional tools are still used, there is no physical capital as collection centers and means of production. transport, with respect to human capital, the association does not have trained labor, in terms of financial capital, a large part of the association maintains its activity through its own financing, all of which is reflected in the low yield of avocado production per hectare. On the other hand we see an increase in sales of the association, but not necessarily for greater productivity but for an increase in avocado prices, finally the association considers not to be affected by the presence of local competitors as there is unmet demand in the market.
