Introduction: Cutaneous disorders are extremely common and common in all stages of HIV infection, and CD4 lymphocyte count is a laboratory procedure whose peripheral reduction in the count of these cells is related to the severity and extent of the diseases HIV-related skin diseases. For this reason, since the onset of the HIV pandemic in the 1980s, the importance of skin disorders has been assessed. Objective: To determine the relationship between the CD4 lymphocyte count and the dermatological manifestations of patients diagnosed with HIV, Hospital Antonio Lorena, Cusco, 2012-2016. Material and methods: A non-experimental, descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional and correlational study performed at the Hospital Antonio Lorena from January 2012 to December 2016 in 163 patients with HIV diagnosis who met the selection criteria. A review of medical records was made, a database was entered, SPSS version 22 was used for data processing, with basic descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Of the total number of patients diagnosed with HIV, the mean age was 30.81 years, with 68.1% being male, 64% of the men had a dermatological manifestation, compared to 48.1% of the women with Some dermatological manifestation, the highest percentage occurred in a CD4 cell count of 200 to 499 cells / uL with a 37.42%. The predominant dermatosis was of non-infectious origin in its sub type of adverse reaction to ART (30) in its variable Lipodystrophy (31), followed by that of infectious origin in its fungal subtype (23) in its Candidiasis variable (14) . It was found that there is only a statistically significant association between dermatological manifestations associated with ART (lipodystrophy) and CD4 cell count, with p = 0.000, with a predominance of a CD4 count =500 (n = 19) representing 11.7% of Total reactions to ART (19%). Conclusions: Our study showed that only adverse reactions to ART (lipodystrophy) is related to the CD4 count in patients with HIV diagnosis.
