The present work of thesis ¨ Analysis of the resistance of the Shihuahuaco wood being subjected to loads of flexion, compression and traction at different moisture contents in the region Cusco, gives the physical-mechanical characteristics to determine the resistance of the Shihuahuaco wood belonging to the Quincemil sector, Camanti district and Quispicanchis province of the department of Cusco. Having as general and specific objective “To analyze the incidence in the resistance of Shihuahuaco wood, being submitted to loads of flexion, compression and traction at different moisture contents in the Region of Cusco.“, “Analyze the incidence in the resistance of the Shihuahuaco wood, being subjected to loads of flexion, compression and traction to the dry state to the natural one and submerged to different contents of humidity like 24h, 48h and 72h in the Region of Cusco. “respectively. Being the research methodology used is: according to the type of research because its approach is quantitative, depending on the level of research it is descriptive with correlational connotations and according to the method of hypotheticodeductive research. The wood was saturated at different times of 24, 48 and 72 hours and was contrasted with the wood in its natural dry state, which was considered a reference pattern, likewise the behavior of Shihuahuaco wood was analyzed with the variation of saturation times. Resulting admissible stresses classified in group “A“ according to the E.010 standard and as a conclusion it was demonstrated that at a lower moisture content the compression resistance increases, in the tensile test the wood submitted to 48 hours of saturation presented the best value; for the bending test, the best results were obtained for the wood in the dry to natural state
