This research work is of a Criminal nature, it focuses on the study of one of the most important Stages of the Criminal Procedure Code; It is the Intermediate Stage that includes the period from the Conclusion of the Preparatory Investigation until theissuance of the Judgment Order, or the dismissal of the case is declared. Purpose of this Stage in the Procedural Sanitation and move on to the Oral Trial Stage. One of the principles to be analyzed in the development of the Intermediate Stage is the violation of the Principle of Procedural Speed by the Preparatory Investigation Courts of the Superior Court of Justice of Cusco as an objective, to determine what are the causes and what consequences the slow process generates. of the justice system that today is acclaimed by citizens. The objective of this investigation is to examine how the development of the Intermediate Stage is violating the Principle of Procedural Speed in the different procedural acts from the identification of the causes and effects that it generates with the breach of the terms established in the penal norm. With a qualitative approach, because it dispenses with data collection instruments: interviews with Judges, Prosecutors and Lawyers who are experts in the field whose contributions and making an exhaustive analysis of the results identify the anomalies that exist in the administration of justice and overcome the problem; explanatory and non-experimental level, seeks to explain the reason for the delay in criminal proceedings and the slowness of the justice system. Finally, in the present investigation, the different legal, doctrinal and jurisprudential concepts will be widely developed on the issues of, Procedural Stages, the Intermediate Stage, procedural principles, procedural deadlines, procedural acts, etc.
