The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between smile parameters and the facial pattern in students of the I.E. Nº 52043 “Shajao“ of the native Ese'eja community of Infierno - Tambopata, Madre de Dios, 2018. “In addition to finding the most frequent facial pattern and evaluating smile parameters in the study group. The study had a non-experimental design of descriptive, correlational and transversal type whose population was constituted by 67, with the final sample being 53 students (30 female and 23 male) between 11 and 17 years of age. The technique used was through a data collection card, a series of 3 extra oral photographs was taken, the first a frontal view, followed by a view at rest and finally a frontal view of a spontaneous smile, with a Canon EOS camera Rebel T6 with a fixed lens of 18-55 mm. In the photographs, the facial pattern was evaluated, as well as the parameters of the smile. The results of the investigation conclude that there is no statistically significant relationship between the parameters of the smile and the facial pattern, these parameters being perfectly applicable for any facial pattern. The predominant facial pattern for both male and female sex was Euriprosopo (34.0% and 43.4% respectively), followed by the Mesoprosopo facial pattern (7.5% and 43.4% respectively) and, to a lesser extent, the Leptoprosopo facial pattern (1.9% respectively), using the chi-square statistical test this association was not significant p = 0.958 (p> 0.05), which means that sex is not associated with the facial pattern. Regarding the relationship of the facial pattern and age using the chi-square statistical test, this association was not significant p = 0.621 (p> 0.05), which indicates that age is not associated with the facial pattern.
