Objective: The purpose of this research was toodetermine the level of knowledgeoof the Code of Ethics andsDeontology of the Dental College of Peru in dental surgeons of the Wanchaq-Cusco district, 2022. Materials and methods: Thissstudy is descriptive, cross-sectionalaand quantitative. The sample was 120 registered and qualified dental surgeons from the Wanchaq district, who developed a structured questionnaire. Results: The participants demonstrated a level of knowledgeeof the code of ethics and deontologyyaccording to sex, the male was deficient (24.2%) and female between deficient and regular (25% and 24.2%), according to years of graduate, those who graduated < to 5 years, the knowledge was between deficient and regular (8.3% and 9.2%), those who graduated from 6 to 10 years, theelevel offknowledge was between deficient and regular (10% and 8.3%), those who graduated between 11 and 15 years and >16 years the knowledge was deficient (17.5% and 13.3%) and according to type of university, public was between deficient and regular (13.3% and 14.2%) of those who graduated from private university the knowledge was deficient (35.8%). Regarding the level offknowledge of the dimensions that make up the codeoof ethics and deontology in dentalnsurgeons; knowledge of the preamble was regular (43.3%); knowledge of professional practice was poor (48.3%); knowledge of the issuance of certificates, odontograms and medical history was poor (61.7%); knowledge of professional relationships was between bad and regular (45% and 44.2%) and knowledge of professional secrecy was bad (65.8%).
