The Objective: of the study was to relate the use of electronic devices to the appearance of asthenopia by the use of electronic screens in the second, third and fourth grade school population in two National Educational Institutions, July - August 2022. Methodology: This is a nonexperimental, correlative and cross-sectional study with a qualitative, descriptive approach. The non-probabilistic sample was 371 students from the two national educational institutions between 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade of primary, validated by the judgment of 5 experts, it was developed by the parents who previously signed an informed consent. The statistical analysis of the data was performed through IBM SPSS software v27 and descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Results: According to the Spearman correlation coefficient (es) and the significance of the Chi-Square test is 0.000 which indicates the relationship between the two variables. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the appearance of asthenopia and the use of electronic screens in second grade, third and fourth school population in two National Educational Institutions July - August 2022.
