The main objective of the present investigation was to analyze the evolution of the magnitudes of the mechanical properties: compressive strength, and modulus of elasticity of a concrete with dosage f'c = 210 kg / cm2, an added concrete of natural zeolite 10% with respect to the weight of the cement and an added concrete of 20% natural zeolite with respect to the weight of the cement evaluated at 7, 14, 21, 28 days. Cylindrical specimens (briquettes) cured for 7, 14, 21, 28 days were made, to which they were subjected to the tests of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity according to ASTM C39 and ASTM C469 correspondingly. Finally, of the two properties analyzed it was concluded that the added samples of natural zeolite have an increase in the magnitudes of their mechanical properties evaluated with respect to the concrete pattern, therefore, they had a better mechanical behavior. Affirming that an increase in compressive strength was obtained by 9.34% for the added concrete of 10% natural zeolite and an increase of 6.25% for the concrete added by 20% of natural zeolite and an increase in the magnitude of the modulus elasticity of in 6.73% for the added concrete of 10% natural zeolite and an increase of 4.71% for the added concrete of 20% of natural zeolite, both cases with respect to the weight of the standard dosage cement of the standard concrete. These results were favorable for a design and construction of columns.
