Abstract: La investigación titulada: “Uso de plantas medicinales por agentes comunitarios de salud del
distrito de Yanatile, Calca, 2023”. Cuyo objetivo es, identificar el uso de plantas medicinales por
agentes comunitarios de salud del distrito de Yanatile, Calca 2023. La metodología empleada en
esta investigación es de corte transversal y no experimental, la entrevista fue el material que se
usó el carácter del estudio es de alcance descriptivo, la encuesta una vez validada se pasó a aplicar
el instrumento a la población planteada que asciende a 80 agentes comunitarios de salud con
diferentes características (sexo, edad, grado de instrucción, años de servicio, etc.). A quienes se
les consultó si hacen uso de las plantas medicinales, de qué lugar lo obtienen, qué parte de la
planta hacen uso, el porqué de las razones hacen uso de la planta, con qué frecuencia y para qué
tipo de afección hace uso de la planta.
Los resultados obtenidos en relación a las características sociodemográficas de los
agentes comunitarios de salud del distrito de Yanatile.37, 5% comprende la edad de 41 a 50 años
de edad, 60,0% predomina el sexo femenino, 57,5% de la población tiene experiencia como
agentes comunitarios de salud entre 11 a 20 años. Respecto al uso de plantas medicinales el 100%
de la población se refiere que si utiliza las plantas medicinales.
Las conclusiones que se desprendió concluyen que los agentes comunitarios de salud si
hacen uso de diversas variedades de plantas para realizar diversos tratamientos a las afecciones.
