(es_PE)
Objective: Determine the relationship between anxiety and virtual education in Human Medicine students at the Andean University of Cusco, semester II 2022. Methodology: Descriptive-correlational, non-experimental-cross-sectional study, the population was made up of 350 students of “Human Medicine of the Andean University of Cusco of the tenth”, eleventh and twelfth, while the sample was made up of 183 students, in addition, the survey was applied and the questionnaire “State-Trait Anxiety Inventory” was taken. Results: 49.2% of students have a moderate level of anxiety and a regular level of virtual education, while 27.9% of students have a severe level of anxiety and an inadequate level of virtual education. In addition, the Chi-square value was 51.380 and Spearman's Rho of -0.545, and a sig. value of 0.000, which is less than the p value of 0.05, therefore there is an inverse and moderate relationship between the variables. Conclusion: There is a relationship between anxiety and virtual education in Human Medicine students at the Andean University of Cusco, semester II 2022. Likewise, this inverse relationship implies that as anxiety increases, the quality of the students' virtual education experience decreases and vice versa. (en_US)
Introduction: Family functionality refers to the ability of a family to meet the emotional and physical needs of its members. On the other hand, anxious and depressive states in medical students involve the presence of symptoms of anxiety and depression that can affect their emotional well-being and academic performance. Objective: To determine the relationship between family functionality and anxious- depressive states in human medical university students in Cusco in the year 2024. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional analytical observational study, conducted with the participation of 226 human medical university students from a private university in the city of Cusco. Non-probabilistic sampling was used. Instruments such as the Apgar Scale and the Beck Inventory for anxiety and depression were employed. Results: The median age was 23 years, with a predominance of female students, representing 58.3%. The majority belonged to nuclear families, with an equal percentage of 58.3%. Additionally, 59.1% of students were attending clinical rotations. A significant relationship was found between family functionality and depressive state (Rho Spearman=-0.369; p=0.012), as well as between family functionality and anxious state (Rho Spearman=-0.479; p=0.009). Conclusions: A relationship was determined between family dynamics and anxious- depressive states in medical students. (en_US)
