The present thesis of investigation had as main objective to make an analysis of the road capacity and level of service of the intersections signalized: Av. 28 de Julio - 3rd Paradero de Ttio, Av. La Cultura - Manuel Prado, Prolongación Av. La Cultura - Andean University of Cusco in comparison to an intersection with unevenness subjected to the same demand of vehicular flow. For the determination of the traffic conditions, the corresponding vehicular and pedestrian capacity was made at these intersections, considered the hours of greatest demand. Likewise for the determination of geometric conditions of the intersections the topographic survey was carried out. Finally, for the determination of sanfortified conditions, a detailed inventory of the behavior of traffic lights and signaling at each intersection was made. With the data obtained, we proceeded to calculate the road capacity and service level based on the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM 2010), which is incorporated in the Synchro 8.0 simulation software, which allowed us to simulate these intersections in its Actual state. The projection of future traffic volume was carried out at 5,10,15,20 years in the intersections studied. With these volumes, the aforementioned procedure was performed to calculate the road capacity and service level with its respective simulation for each scenario. With the results obtained it was determined in which year the overpass should be implemented. Similarly with these volumes, the traffic simulation was carried out using VISSIM software to determine the road capacity and service level in that year. In conclusion, with the proper implementation of an overpass at each intersection, it results in a higher road capacity and a better level of service for the roads.
