The present research study had the general objective of determining the influence of socioeconomic factors in the generation of underemployment regarding the delivery men of the Rappi company in the district of Cusco in the year 2021. For the development of the investigation, an approach was used quantitative methodological, explanatory scope and non-experimental design. In the study, 75 delivery men participated, who were provided with a survey. According to the results achieved, it is indicated that socioeconomic factors significantly influence the generation of underemployment of Rappi company delivery drivers, based on the level of significance of the binary probabilistic regression model (0.000<0.05) and the value of the pseudo R2 is 0.7005, indicating that the predictor variables (migrant status, wages, and education levels) together explain a large proportion of the variance in the probability of underemployment. Likewise, it was shown that having a migrant status increases the probability of being underemployed by 2.6%. On the other hand, the salary has a negative influence on the probability of belonging to the underemployment group (b=-0.036 and p-value=0.008). In conclusion, it was possible to determine that socioeconomic factors such as migration and salary significantly influence the generation of underemployment of rappitenderos.
