The objective of this study was to evaluate the economic effects on the craft business and its relationship with the well-being of leather artisans in the district, province and department of Cusco, 2022. The study method was basic, with a quantitative approach and descriptive - correlational scope and non-experimental - cross-sectional design; Considering the economic effects as the independent variable and the dependent variable, the well-being of the artisans, the main information collected during the study of the leather craftsmen was used for data processing in SPSS 21. The fundamental problem identified is the poor management of production, income and sales of leather craftsmen. Regarding production, it has not occurred continuously due to the pandemic, since it was difficult to access all the inputs. As for income, it has been decreasing since after resuming in-person attendance, the arrival of tourists has been sporadic. Finally, sales in craft businesses have been limited since health and political factors arose, which affected achieving better sales. For this reason, the state provided Bonuses and Economic Reactivation to help and encourage leather craftsmen. For the population analysis, we identified a sample of 150 leather artisans surveyed, affected by the health crisis in the district of Cusco. The main results in the evaluation of the economic effects on the craft business and its relationship with the well-being of leather craftsmen, gave a correlational result of 78.8%; corresponding to the level of production has a significant relationship in the well-being of leather craftsmen, it was obtained as a spearman correlation of 44.2%; On the other hand, the income level has a significant relationship in the well-being of leather craftsmen, it was obtained as a Spearman correlation of 75.2%; Finally, the level of sales has a significant relationship in the well-being of leather craftsmen, it was obtained as a Spearman correlation of 63.8%.
