The present research “EVALUACIÓN DE LAS PROPIEDADES FÍSICO MECÁNICAS DE LAS UNIDADES DE ALBAÑILERÍA DE SUELO – CEMENTO ELABORADAS CON LA MAQUINARIA ECO PREMIUM DOUBLE PARA SU CLASIFICACION DE ACUERDO A LA NTP E.070 – CUSCO 2020”, provides an analysis of the physical-mechanical behaviors of masonry units made with soil and cement in different percentages (10%, 12% and 15% cement); for immediate classification according to the NTP E.070. The masonry units have been made with the Chimpahuaylla soil, which has been subjected to the granulometric test, the liquid limit test and the plastic limit test, for classification. To carry out the present investigation, the masonry units were made with cement at 10%, 12% and 15% by volume. In these soil-cement masonry units, tests were carried out such as: dimensional change, warping, water absorption, compressive strength and flexural strength. According to the results, the physical-mechanical properties of the soil-cement masonry units are within the parameters established in the Peruvian Technical Standard E.070. It was observed that the physical properties of the soil-cement masonry units with addition by volume of 10%, 12% and 15% volume of cement, are similar or have small differences between the units tested. On the other hand, it was observed that the mechanical properties of the soil-cement masonry units are directly proportional to the volume addition of cement (10%, 12% and 15% of cement). In this way, according to the physical properties of the masonry units soil - cement with volume addition of 10%, 12% and 15% in cement, they can be classified according to NTP E.070 as type V bricks; and that according to the mechanical properties of the soil-cement masonry units with 10% and 12% cement addition by volume can be classified as NP block and with 15% cement addition by volume can be classified as type I brick.
