The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how the training and performance of the discussion book for the trial of the New Peruvian Criminal Procedure Code must be done, either orally or in writing. This is in response to the concern raised by some theorists of criminal procedural law about the insufficiency of the work carried out around it. Consequently, a detailed investigation of orality and writing, as well as its related procedural forms, is carried out in order to determine its role in the dynamics of the new criminal procedure model, through the study of judicial practice and legal theory, using for it a conceptual analysis model. In this way, a significant contribution is made to the improvement of our understanding and knowledge about this particular institution (the notebook for debate) and in general (orality). Likewise, the theoretical basis for establishing the minimum objective conditions of orality is based on the current characterization of this procedural principle and with the pretension of contributing to the decline in the culture of addiction (or worship) of the courts.
