The present study describes domestic violence as a serious problem that affects the lives of individuals, communities and generations, was conducted at the Educational Institution Secondary Ollantay of Ollantaytambo, Urubamba; seeking information about degrees of severity and factors associated with such violence as: time in Ollantaytambo, family type, education level and occupation of parents, family economic status, level of consumption parental alcohol and family history of violence of the aggressor. The population was 464 students from first to fifth high school was to sign a total of 112 students. the questionnaire on violence in families and identification questionnaire was used associated factors. The inferential analysis was done using the Chi square statistical test with a reliability of 95%, establishing significant association p <0.05.Se found that the economic level, the level of alcohol consumption by the mother and the history of violence both father and mother are factors significantly associated violence.
