The following work determines the Clinical Epidemiological profile of patients who consulted the Emergency Service of the Santa Rosa Polyclinic of the National Police of Peru, from January to December 2015, analyzing the Epidemiological Profile: sex, age, civil status, level of Instruction , place of birth, habitual residence, type of beneficiary, employment status, hierarchy, pathological antecedents and allergies, clinical profile reason for consultation, waiting time until your attention, prioritization level, hourly influx, procedures and treatments received, type of emergency , time spent in the observation room and frequency with which they consulted the emergency service. Descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study, with a population of 1534 clinical histories and for the sample the formula for finite populations was applied, being 248 clinical records of patients seen in the Santa Rosa Polyclinic Emergency Service of the Cusco PNP, during the study period applying, to obtain the sample type of non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, according to previously defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. We reviewed the medical records of the patients treated at the emergency service of the Santa Rosa Polyclinic of the PNP, through the data collection form, which contain Epidemiological data and Clinical data. Being the validation of the instrument by expert judgment. Once the information was collected, the instruments were codified for their subsequent computer processing, their respective tabulation, with the generation of results that is expressed through graphs. The study shows that the epidemiological profile of the patients treated at the Emergency Service of the Santa Rosa PNP Cusco, according to the analysis of the results, 45% corresponded to patients between 25 and 60 years of age, young and adults, predominantly 70% male, 63% married, 65% married, born in the province of Cusco 95% and 43 had a habitual residence in the district of San Sebastián. Being the 74% holders, 78% in activity, 87% Sub-officers. Eighty-nine percent did not report any pathological history or allergies. Being the Clinical profile of the patients treated in the Emergency Service of the Santa Rosa Polyclinic of the Cusco PNP, in the reason for consultation presented health problems in the digestive system 33%, locomotive apparatus 26% and respiratory system 23%. The waiting time of the patients until their care, for 26% was less than 30 minutes, 58% were attended with a waiting time between 31 to 120 minutes, attentions were due to problems of low complexity and according to the risk assessment 8% was considered as a real priority I emergency, 27% priority II priority, 68% priority III and IV, hourly influx 94% came from 08.00am to 20.00pm. The procedures and treatments received were according to the level of complexity of the health facility Level I-3 and initial management of priority I, II of low complexity and management of priority III. The type of emergency in which the clinical picture of the user was cataloged 64% comprised medical emergencies, followed by surgical ones with 20%, being the residence time of the user in observation room 34% more than 240 minutes, 28% of 61-120 minutes, 3% less than 60 minutes and finely the frequency with which they consulted the emergency service 89% was once a month. The Epidemiological Profile of the patients served in the Emergency Service of the Santa Rosa Polyclinic of the PNP was the frequent age group of young and adults, male sex, higher education, married, born in the province of Cusco, habitual place of residence The District of San Sebastián, being the type of beneficiary the holders, in activity and Sub-officials. Regarding the Clinical Profile, the reason for consultation was due to problems in the digestive system, locomotor system, respiratory system, waiting time to receive care was less than 30 minutes, attentions were due toproblems of low complexity and according to the risk assessment were mostly priority III and IV, the hourly influx was 08.00am. At 20.00pm, procedures and treatments received according to complexity of the establishment with management priority III, the emergency type of the clinical picture were medical emergencies and the frequency with which they attended the Emergency Service was once a month. Knowledge of the clinical and epidemiological profile of the population attending an emergency service is a tool for planning, management for decision making or for future research.
