Conocimientos y prácticas sobre sexualidad en estudiantes del primer y noveno ciclo académico de la Escuela Profesional de Obstetricia 2019 – II

Abstract

Conocimientos y prácticas sobre sexualidad en los estudiantes del primer y noveno ciclo académico de la Escuela Profesional de Obstetricia 2019 – II. Objetivo: Identificar el nivel de conocimiento y prácticas sobre sexualidad en estudiantes del primer y noveno ciclo académico. Metodología: descriptiva, corte transversal, cuantitativa, no experimental, prospectiva. Resultados: Las características sociodemográficas son edad en el 1er ciclo (82%) menor de 19 años; (81%) edad entre 19 a 24 años en el 9no ciclo, el sexo se presenta con el (97%) como femenino y el (100%) en el 9no ciclo, el estado civil tanto en alumnos del 1er y 9no ciclo fue (97%) y (76%) respectivamente como soltera (o)s, la religión es católica con el (88%) y (86%) en el 1er y 9no ciclo respectivamente. El nivel de conocimiento de sexualidad es alto con el (68%) en los alumnos del noveno ciclo y (32%) en el primer ciclo. Las practicas sobre sexualidad se evidencian con el 42% que tuvieron el inicio de las relaciones sexuales coitales antes de los 18 años de edad, el 85% tuvo su primera relación sexual con el enamorado, el 85% señalo que su primera relación fue por voluntad propia, el 51% práctica relaciones coitales vaginales, el 100% refirió no haber tenido relaciones con trabajadoras sexuales, el 26% indico que tuvo dos a más parejas sexuales en los últimos seis meses, el 72% se realizó alguna vez pruebas sobre VIH, sífilis o hepatitis.

The level of knowledge about sexuality is high with (68%) in the students of the ninth cycle and (32%) in the first cycle. Sexuality practices are evidenced by 42% who had the beginning of sexual intercourse before the age of 18, 85% had their first sexual relationship with the lover, 85% indicated that their first relationship was by will own, 51% practice vaginal intercourse, 100% said they had no relationship with sex workers, 26% indicated that they had two or more sex partners in the last six months, 72% were ever tested for HIV, syphilis or hepatitis
