The present research study aimed to establish the relationship between eco-anxiety and emotional well-being in the district of Kunturkanki, province of Canas, Cusco-2023. The research adopted a quantitative approach with a correlational scope and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study was conducted with a population of 4,432 voters, and a sample of 355 residents was drawn. Two measurement instruments were employed: The Climate Change Anxiety Scale (CCAS) questionnaire and the PERMA-Profiler Profile questionnaire. Regarding the data analysis, the non-parametric Pearson statistical method was used, allowing the assessment of the intensity of the correlation between the variables of interest. The results reveal a moderate and significant positive correlation (0.406) between eco-anxiety and emotional well-being in the district of Kunturkanki, province of Canas, Cusco-2023. The identified moderate and significant positive correlation between eco-anxiety and emotional well-being emphasizes the need for strategies and policies that address both environmental concerns and the associated psychological impact on the population of Kunturkanki. These findings can contribute to the formulation of specific interventions that promote a healthy balance between environmental awareness and emotional well-being in the community.
