The objective of the research is to determine the situation of the economic and tax management of the productive activities of the inmates of the Quillabamba Penitentiary Establishment, the Cusco Convention, in the period 2017, an applied type of research was applied, of non-experimental design of descriptive scope; a non-probabilistic sample was applied on 60 inmates of the total of the universe; the conclusion was reached that productive workshops were implemented and inmates were trained; the level of support and training presents difficulties and lack of budget for its adequate implementation; there are serious difficulties in warehouse logistics and marketing, which does not allow sustainability over time as a reinsertion activity for inmates; constituting exclusively as an activity to achieve penitentiary benefits. Establishes that inmates of the penitentiary centre of the city of Quillabamba, have for the most part one older age to 35 years, which deferred the national reality in the prison system is that 90% of the inmates are with judgment of the judiciary; you could verify that 67% of the cases I study is secondary which allows to deduce that they do not have technical or higher studies which can allow them to have access to a qualified job. The participation of the inmates in productive activities is perceived as positive and generates not only training opportunities, but also allows and gives a number of benefits that the inmates intended to achieve.
