The present investigation work entitled “RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE BIOSECURITY MEASURES AND THE WORK ACCIDENTS IN THE PUBLIC CLEANING PERSONNEL OF THE PROVINCIAL MUNICIPALITY OF THE CONVENTION - CUSCO 2018“, aims to determine the relationship between the biosafety measures and the accidents of work in the public cleaning staff of the Provincial Municipality of La Convención - Cusco 2018, with descriptive method design, cross-sectional, correlational, exploratory, the sample population was made up of 56 cleaning workers of the Provincial Municipality of La Convención. The technique used was the interview and the instrument was the survey. The results show: in terms of general characteristics 72% are between 36 to 50 years old, 64% are male, 52% had primary education, 50% are cohabiting, 42% work less than 1 year, 60% he works in shift morning, 100% work from 6 to 12 hours per day, 58% the work contract was indefinite, 72% occupies the position of sweeper. About biosecurity measures, 56% comply fairly with biosecurity measures, 28% do so inadequately and 16% adequately. About work accidents that 78% of workers never presented work accidents, 22% the accident that I presented was physical injury, 80% the risk that led to acquiring work accidents was the lack of guidance on biosecurity, 76% it is not a creditor of supplementary insurance for risk work, of 100% of those injured if the institution was held liable. In conclusion, there is a correlation between biosafety measures and work accidents in public cleaning personnel. The value of Kendall's Tau.b test was (- 0.333), which means that biosecurity measures have an inversely proportional relationship.
