Nivel de conocimiento y uso de barreras de protección de bioseguridad en personal asistencial del Hospital de Essalud Sicuani, Cusco, 2017.

Abstract

El presenté trabajo intitulado “NIVEL DE CONOCIMIENTO Y EL USO DE BARRERAS DE PROTECCIÓN DE BIOSEGURIDAD EN PERSONAL ASISTENCIAL DEL HOSPITAL DE ESSALUD SICUANI, CUSCO-2017” el objetivo fue determinar Nivel de conocimientos y uso de barreras de protección de bioseguridad en personal asistencial del Hospital de EsSalud Sicuani, Cusco-2017. El diseño metodológico que se utilizó en el presente trabajo de investigación fue descriptivo transversal, la población muestral estuvo conformada por 78 encuestados. La técnica utilizada fue el cuestionario y la guía de observación. Las conclusiones fueron: Dentro de las características generales se tiene Dentro de las características generales se tiene que el 46% del personal asistencial tiene entre 25-30 años de edad, el 64% es de sexo femenino, el 37% está casado(a), el 70% es contratado (CAS), 60% del personal asistencial son licenciadas en enfermería, el 17% labora en consultorios externos, el 38% tiene de 1 a 4 años trabajando en el hospital. Al evaluar el nivel de conocimiento sobre el uso de barreras de protección en bioseguridad del hospital EsSalud Sicuani se tiene que el 69% tiene un conocimiento bueno, el 24% tiene regular conocimiento y el 7% tiene un conocimiento malo sobre las medidas de bioseguridad. En cuanto al uso de barreras de protección se bioseguridad el 73% tiene un uso adecuado de las barreras de bioseguridad y el 27% un uso inadecuado de las barrearas de protección.

The methodological design used in this research was crosssectional descriptive, the sample population was composed of 78 respondents. The technique used was the questionnaire and the observation guide. The conclusions were: Within the general characteristics is Within the general characteristics is that 46% of the care personnel is between 25-30 years of age, 64% is female, 37% is married (a) , 70% are hired (CAS), 60% of the care personnel are licensed in nursing, 17% work in outpatient clinics, 38% have 1 to 4 years working in the hospital. When evaluating the level of knowledge on the use of biosafety protection barriers at the EsSalud Sicuani hospital, 69% have good knowledge, 24% have regular knowledge and 7% have bad knowledge about biosafety measures. Regarding the use of biosecurity protection barriers, 73% have an adequate use of biosecurity barriers and 27% inadequate use of protection barriers.
