According to estimates by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (2016), about 70% of the buildings built in the country are informal, consequently, they do not comply with the earthquake-resistant design parameters indicated in the National Building Regulations, nor They have adequate construction control, which is why they present a high level of vulnerability to seismic events. For this reason, a study is necessary to determine the Level of Risk exposed, and thus find measures that allow reducing the effect of seismic disasters. In the La Florida Urb. of the Wanchaq district, there is constant urban growth with the construction of multi-family buildings, as well as old buildings that do not have periodic maintenance, which represent the majority of buildings in the city, so this research Its main objective is to prepare a map of the proposed area that indicates percentages of Seismic Risk using the methodology proposed by FEMA – Hazus Earthquake Model Technical Manual 5.1 (FEMA, 2022). For the development of this investigation, a visual inspection of the physical characteristics of the buildings was carried out through the use of a Data Collection Form adapted from the FEMA Format, on the other hand, to estimate the danger, Standard E030 of Earthquake-resistant design to obtain graphs of Pseudoacceleration and Displacement that the study area presents, finally, using the FEMA-Hazus method, the data was processed to calculate percentages of exposed Risk that will indicate the level at which the proposed area is located, and thus being able to capture it in a Seismic Risk Map. It is noted that the analysis was carried out for different seismic scenarios (Uniform Hazard Spectrum and Design Earthquake). As a result, it is obtained that the Urb, La Florida – Wanchaq has a “Collapse Prevention” status, having average risk percentages of 0.81% for a Uniform Hazard Spectrum analysis and 14.34% for a design earthquake, on the other hand, it is shown that the estimate of economic losses is S/ 6,864,138.88 for a Uniform Hazard Spectrum and S/ 127,873,841.03 for a Design Earthquake, respectively. The preparation of the maps was concluded using the seismic risk obtained for a Uniform Hazard Spectrum and a Design Earthquake as shown in figures 70 and 71.
