Abstract: El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo describir el birdwatching en la
Comunidad de Calquiña, distrito de Huayopata, La Convención – 2019. Así, la metodología de
este trabajo fue descriptiva, no experimental dentro del marco del enfoque cuantitativo. De la
misma manera, se ha aplicado el cuestionario cerrado a los visitantes nacionales y extranjeros.
En ese sentido, se ha podido identificar la presencia de las aves endémicas y migratorias
en dicha comunidad, lo cual es aprovechada por los visitantes que realizan la actividad de
birdwatching, es decir, el avistamiento de las aves en su ámbito natural, en diferentes puntos
estratégicos. De esta manera, en la presente investigación se ha concluido que el birdwatching
tiene un alto potencial turístico, debido a la presencia de especies de aves endémicas, migratorias
y diversidad de hábitats, también existen otras aves con valor histórico, ya que estas especies de
aves son atractivos para los observadores de aves.
This research work aims to describe birdwatching in the Community of Calquiña, district of Huayopata, La Convencion - 2019. In the same way, the closed questionnaire has been applied to domestic and foreign visitors. In that sense, it has been possible to identify the presence of endemic and migratory birds in this community, which is used by visitors who perform birdwatching activity, that is, the bird watching in their natural environment. In this way, in the present investigation, it has been concluded that birdwatching has a high tourist potential, due to the presence of endemic and migratory bird species, there are also other birds with historical value since these bird species are attractive to birdwatchers.
