Planteamiento para la conservación vial del pavimento flexible en la av. confraternidad y en el tramo cementerio de Andahuaylas-Hospital Santa Margarita del Jr. Ayacucho mediante la evaluación PCI, VIZIR y PSI de la provincia de Andahuaylas, región de Apurímac – 2023

Abstract

La tesis denominada “PLANTEAMIENTO PARA LA CONSERVACIÓN VIAL DEL PAVIMENTO FLEXIBLE EN LA AV. CONFRATERNIDAD Y EN EL TRAMO CEMENTERIO DE ANDAHUAYLAS-HOSPITAL SANTA MARGARITA DEL JR. AYACUCHO MEDIANTE LA EVALUACIÓN PCI, VIZIR Y PSI DE LA PROVINCIA DE ANDAHUAYLAS, REGIÓN DE APURÍMAC – 2023”, está enfocado en el planteamiento de la conservación vial en base a los métodos de evaluación PCI, VIZIR y PSI; debido a que las vías en estudio se encuentran deterioradas afectando así a los usuarios, además que hay un desconocimiento de la conservación vial que requiere dichas zonas. La metodología que se empleó para dicha investigación posee un enfoque cuantitativo, un nivel descriptivo, un método hipotético-deductivo y el diseño es de tipo no experimental. Por consiguiente, se utilizó tres métodos de evaluación con el fin de plantear de la manera más idónea la conservación vial. El primero fue el método PCI, el cual proporciono un valor numérico de la condición superficial del pavimento; dando como resultados tanto para la avenida Confraternidad y el tramo cementerio de Andahuaylas-Hospital Santa Margarita del jirón Ayacucho, valores de 47.42 y 54.99 del PCI respectivamente, catalogando la condición superficial del pavimento como “regular”. El segundo fue el método VIZIR, el cual proporciona un valor numérico de la condición superficial del pavimento mediante el índice de deterioro superficial, dando como resultado para la avenida Confraternidad y el tramo cementerio de AndahuaylasHospital Santa Margarita del jirón Ayacucho, valores de 3 y 4 del Is respectivamente, clasificando

la condición superficial del pavimento como “regular”. El tercero fue el método PSI, para el cual

se realizó el estudio de la regularidad superficial del pavimento, donde se obtuvo resultados tanto

para la avenida Confraternidad y el tramo cementerio de Andahuaylas-Hospital Santa Margarita

del jirón Ayacucho valores de 2.59 y 2.52 del PSI, calificando la serviciabilidad del pavimento

como “regular”. Por lo expuesto, se concluyó que el plan conservación vial más idóneo según a los

resultados obtenidos de las evaluaciones es de un mantenimiento periódico en el cual la actividad

es de un recapeo asfáltico.

AND PSI EVALUATION OF THE PROVINCE OF ANDAHUAYLAS, APURÍMAC REGION – 2023”, is focused on the approach to road conservation based on the PCI, VIZIR and PSI evaluation methods; because the roads under study are deteriorated, thus affecting users, and there is a lack of knowledge of the road conservation that these areas require. The methodology used for this research has a quantitative approach, a descriptive level, a hypothetical-deductive method and the design is non-experimental. Consequently, three evaluation methods were used in order to propose road conservation in the most suitable way. The first was the PCI method, which provides a numerical value of the surface condition of the pavement; giving as results for both Confraternidad Avenue and the Andahuaylas-Hospital Santa Margarita cemetery section of Jirón Ayacucho, PCI values of 47.42 and 54.99 respectively, classifying the surface condition of the pavement as “regular”. The second was the VIZIR method, which provides a numerical value of the surface condition of the pavement through the surface deterioration index, resulting in values of 3 for Confraternidad Avenue and the Andahuaylas-Hospital Santa Margarita del Jirón Ayacucho cemetery section. and 4 of Is respectively, classifying the surface condition of the pavement as “regular”. The third was the PSI method, for which the study of the surface regularity of the pavement was carried out, where results were obtained for both Confraternidad Avenue and the Andahuaylas-Hospital Santa Margarita del Jirón Ayacucho cemetery section, values of 2.59 and 2.52 of the PSI, qualifying the serviceability of the pavement as “regular”. From the above, it is concluded that the most suitable road conservation according to the results obtained from the evaluations is a maintenance period in which the essential activities are milling, sealing and asphalt resurfacing.
