Simian acceleration in Peru are covered in the National Building Regulations in its Standard E.030 as Factor Zone earthquake resistant design, this value is based on the spatial distribution of the observed seismicity, the general characteristics of earthquakes and attenuation these with the epicentral distance and in neotectonics information. In this investigation it was determined what the maximum expected acceleration in the whole area of Cusco product of crustal earthquakes, in other words, the seismic acceleration you would expect in a seismic event by crustal faults applying a law of attenuation is determined chosen compared with the results of accelerometers, with the conclusion that the results of the research expressed values lower than those indicated in the Standard E.030, with great importance for the earthquake resistant structural design.
