The research “Ferropenic anemia and psychomotor development in children from 6 to 24 months treated at the San Jerónimo health center, Cusco 2020“, aimed to: Identify iron deficiency anemia and psychomotor development in children from 6 to 24 months seen at the Center of Salud San Jerónimo, Cusco. The methodology was of type, descriptive and cross-sectional with a sample of 88 children attended. The technique was observation and interview, the instrument is the documentary observation guide of the medical records for anemia and Psychomotor Development and the questionnaire was used for the sociodemographic data for the mothers. RESULTS 63.6% of mothers are between the ages of 25 and 35 and 26.1% are from other places. General characteristics of the child: 40.9% are between 18 to 21 months of age, 71.6% are male, 37.5% have 3 or more siblings, 63.6% of children have degrees of normal anemia, 23,9% with mild anemia, 12.5% with moderate anemia. 45.5% have normal anemia and normal psychomotor development, 18.2% with psychomotor development at risk. 15.9% with mild anemia present normal psychomotor development, 8.0% with psychomotor development at risk. 9.1% with moderate anemia and normal psychomotor development, 3.4% with at-risk psychomotor development.
